2 years of Risqué…
Two years ago we were gearing up for our first Risqué Nites event with La Riots at Barcode. I remember sweating with a nervous excitement and almost every single conversation we had.
*Fast forward – 2010*
Almost everything since then has changed from our venue, resident djs and most importantly our party goers.
I want to thank everyone who has rode this crazy ride with us and helped me and my team become better djs and overall better people. The things this has allowed me to see, places I’ve been afforded to go and experiences I’ve gained in life all because of this can’t even be explained in words.
Sept. 18th we celebrate all the blood, sweat, tears, alcohol and everything else spilled to make this happen(and trust me there’s been a lot).
Thank you Paul, Brandy, Miguel, Vinny and UnitedState for being such good friends and partners.

Risqué Nites Summer Finale w/ Dj Mykill
Summer is almost over and we’ve had some crazy times with you all the last few months.
We definitely aren’t going to stop partying every month but we know some of you have to leave us to head off to college for what feels like too long every year. With that said let us go harder than ever before one last time before buckling down.
Risqué Nites presents a Summer Finale Party with Solid Bump Records artist Dj Mykill. Mykill is well known around the states for his unique mixture of Top 40 and dance music style. He has released a series of highly praised mixes called “Club Killers” and has also released several original productions under Solid Bump Records.

Steve Aoki in Sacramento this Thursday!
Steve Aoki, one of the modern pioneers of indie music and owner of Dim Mak Records is making his next stop of his North America tour in our home town Sacramento tomorrow night at Social night club.
Last time he was in Sacramento it was a legendary show that went down in the books. This time around our very own Risqué Nites Djs will be opening up for him. Mike Diamond, Sex&Weight, My Cousin Vinny along with Adam J and Sam I Jam will be bringing the Nor Cal touch to the madness of an show already expected to be sold out in 2 days.
We know it is kind of short notice but now that it’s what are you going to do about it? Come support the hard efforts of your local djs who have been bringing you top quality shows to Sacramento. With less than a month of summer left it’s best to not miss this.

Melee Beats tore the roof off Risque this month! Another excellent month thanks to all of you.
I would like to address a few thing…
- We will never receive a refund for you being lame.
- You shouldn’t go out to be a drunk mess.
- There are always rules. No matter what.
I think sometimes people forget the reason we throw these events. We don’t condone the use of drugs, alcohol or the abuse of any other substance. We don’t care what you do in your personal time but we do care about your well-being. Be safe and think before you act.

So this month we have our very talented friend Melee Beats coming out to do a live performance and dj set! He’s making a lot of noise with his new project Wharehouse wtih DJ Kue which is getting hyped all over the states and recently blew the top off SEMF.
